| After a shopping trip to the big city, a rural farmer thought he'd take his family to the theatre for a movie. After paying dearly for the tickets, he waited in line at the popcorn counter. When it was his turn he said, "You know I used to come here and get popcorn for fifteen cents." To which the fellow behind the counter said, "Sir, you're really going to enjoy this today." "Why's that?" said the farmer. "Because we have sound now," he said. |
