| Let's Go Fishin |
| A fish and game warden happened upon a poacher who was catching large numbers of fish by exploding dynamite in the river and then netting out the fish that floated to the surface. Walking to the middle of the bridge where the man was netting fish right into the trunk of his car, the warden said, “Stop that right now. You are using an improper means of harvesting fish!” “Oh, no, officer, there’s nothing wrong with this. I can prove it to you.” And while he spoke he lit a quarter-stick of dynamite and handed it to the warden. “Just how can you prove it?” said the warden, with the fuse now hissing loudly. “Oh, you’ll see,” said the man, “but in the meantime, are we gonna just stand here talking, or are you ready to do some fishin?” |
