| Dog Solution |
| An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. I could tell from his collar and round belly that he had a home and was well cared for. He stood calmly while I patted his head. Then he followed me right into the house, slowly walked down the hall, and flopped in the corner fast asleep. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He greeted me in the yard, walked with me inside, resumed his spot in the hall, and slept for about an hour before getting up to leave. This continued for several days in a row. Curious, I pinned a note to his collar that said, I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful dog is and ask if you are aware that every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap. The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar that said, He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3, so he's trying to catch up on his rest. Can I come with him tomorrow? |
