On the issue of tax reform, we at RadioWCPR.com have so far avoided the discussion because the Federal income tax is after all a passing inconvenience. We believe that changes to a temporary tax system are expensive and unnecessary.
Have we completely lost our patience? You'll recall that Mr. Lincoln convinced Congress to enact the income tax in the 1860s as a temporary measure. So surely it won't last much longer, will it? (Where is Mr. Lincoln? Ask him. He's out? Well then ask Mr. Roosevelt.)
