| Standard faire on many salad bars! |
In a flat serving dish, layer the following:
1/2 head lettuce, broken in pieces
1 to 2 cups mayonnaise, spread over the top of leaves
2 or 3 stalks celery, sliced fine
1 to 2 cups frozen green peas
1 to 2 cups shredded cheddar
1 jar of bacon bits
5 or 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced and arranged on top
