1 14.75-ounce can of pink salmon
4 tablespoons of cream or milk (cream if you have it)
A couple slices of onion and green pepper, finely chopped
(Some put this in; we leave it out)
3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
2 jumbo eggs, fork beaten
4 tablespoons (1/8 pound) of butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
A dash of Old Bay seasoning
Drain the salmon meat and pick the bone and skin out of it. Pre-cook the
onion and green pepper if you are using them.

In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Add more bread
crumbs until the mixture is firm enough for patties. Form into four patties
(now you wish you had a patty press, right? The Tupperware kind works
well). If your cat loves fish as much as Alf does, share a few bites but
don't worry, you'll have plenty.

Heat a little olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Fry the patties slowly (over low
heat) to avoid browning the outside too quickly. Fry until cooked through.

Serve with green peas and boiled potatoes. Mmm.
Tastes like an old favorite
the very first time you try it.
