If you have been anywhere from the mid-South
to the Gulf you are no stranger to this great stuff.
1 8-ounce package of Mahatma
    Red Beans and Rice mix
    (comes dried, in a plastic pouch)
1 16-ounce Kielbasa sausage, fully cooked
Cut the sausage in half and freeze half, or you can use the whole pound
and double the rice mix.

Prepare the rice mix on the stove according to package directions. While
the rice mix is simmering, cut the sausage into 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick
slices and put them in a bowl for later.

When the rice mix is finished cooking, remove it from the heat and stir
well. Heat the sausage pieces in the microwave (with some water in the
bowl) for two minutes to heat them throughout.

Spoon the sausage into the rice mix and stir well. Serve hot. Mmm.
