1 pound of ground beef
1 cup of diced onion
2 stalks of celery, sliced
1/2 cup of green pepper, diced
1 cup of sliced mushroom
5 to 10 ounces of frozen chopped spinach (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of minced garlic (to taste)
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 (26-1/2-ounce) can of tomatoes
1 (10-ounce) can of cream of tomato soup
1 (10-ounce) can of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of milk
8 ounces of uncooked macaroni
Brown the ground beef, and spoon it into a bowl.
Cook all the vegetables in the ground beef pan until onions are transparent, about
10 minutes. Put in can of tomatoes, mash with potato masher, just until broken up.
Add the ground beef back into pot, then the cans of tomato and mushroom soup.
Season and add the milk, bring everything to a gentle boil. Add the uncooked
macaroni, and cook for approximately 15 minutes.
