Ingredients
1 pint of Cool Whip
1 small package of Jello

Optional
1 8-ounce can of Manderin orange slices with orange jello
or, 8 ounces of fresh strawberries slices with strawberry jello

Make the Jello ahead of time, with or without fruit, and refrigerate it
until set, about 4 hours.

Stir the set Jello to give it a loose texture. Spoon it into 4 parfait
dishes until they're about half filled and you have about 1/3 left. In a
separate bowl, mix enough Cool Whip with the remaining Jello to
make a 50-50 mixture. Spoon this on top of the Jello in the parfait
dishes. Top each parfait dish with a generous amount a Cool Whip.
Put these in the refrigerator to cool. Mmm. Serves four.
As old as ready-whipped toppings and TV
dinners, it's still good after all these years.
