A variation on our
German Icebox Cake

Start with a Devil's Food Cake
Make a cookbook or box cake in two layers.
Cool the baked layers, carefully split them to make four layers,
and then add the topping.
Whipped Cream Topping
2 pints of heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons of Vanilla
Sugar to taste
Ingredients must be cold for the topping to turn out well. Whip
together the cream, chocolate syrup, and some sugar to taste.
Frost between the layers plus the top and sides.

Refrigerate overnight or at least several hours before serving.
