2 jumbo eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
There are 3 simple ways to poach eggs. If you own a poaching pan, melt
a pat of butter in 2 of the pan sections and break an egg into each with
water boiling gently below. Remove the eggs when just soft-cooked.

If you don't own a poaching pan, fill a stainless frying pan half full of
water. With the water simmering steadily, break two eggs into the water
keeping them separate. Remove the eggs when soft-cooked.

You can poach eggs in the same stainless skillet using pineapple cans to
create nice round eggs. Cut the tops and bottoms out of 2 pineapple cans
and clean them thoroughly. Place the cans in a stainless frying pan half
full of water. With the water simmering steadily, break an egg into the
water in each can. Remove the eggs when soft-cooked.

Serve the eggs plain or on a slice of buttered toast, or use them for our
