Gemusteller mit Blaue Käse Soße
(with Blue Cheese Dip)
1 pound of blue cheese, at room temperature
6 ounces of cream cheese, at room temperature
1/3 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
1/8 teaspoon of onion salt
3 tablespoons of white wine, Rhine wine or Moselle
Ripe olives, sliced
Combine blue cheese and cream cheese, stirring with a fork. Blend milk, wine, pepper and onion salt into cheese mixture. Spoon dip into a small serving dish, sprinkle with paprika, and chill it for 1 hour. Makes about 3 cups.

Serve with chips, crackers, celery or carrot sticks, tomato wedges, cucumber slices, pickles, pepper slices, cauliflower, parsley root, onions, scallions, shallots, celery stalks, olives, radishes, zucchini slices, cucumber slices or leeks.
